서울 시립대에서 올덴부르크 대학으로 교환학생을 가는 사람입니다. 오늘부터 작성하는 글들이 교환학생 신청하시는 분들에게 도움이 될까 해서 간단하게 이것저것 작성합니다.
올덴부르크 대학에서 간단한 교환학생 신청서랑 기숙사 신청서를 제출하라는 메일이 왔다. 기숙사는 웬만하면 신청하는게 좋고, 빠를수록 더 학교랑 가까운 기숙사에 배정해준다는 이야기가 있어서 메일을 받자마자 바로 신청했다. 상대교 코디네이터분이 기숙사 신청서만 먼저 제출해도 된다고 하셔서 따로 제출했다.
교환학생 신청서 중에서 가장 애매했던 부분은 위의 내용 중 맨 아래 내용이다. EuGI가 어떤건지 잘 모르겠어서 메일 보내서 물어보니 여러 필수 과목들을 듣고 시험에 통과하면 인증서를 주는 것이라고 하셨다. 필요한 인증서는 아닌 것 같아서 신청하지 않았다.

이런 서류를 4월 22일에 다 보내고 나서 한달 후인 5월 23일에 상대교에서 입학 허가가 된다는 메일이 왔다.
지난번까지는 우리학교에서 교환학생을 가는 것까지만 확정이었지만, 며칠 전 올덴부르크 대학에서 아래와 같은 메일이 왔다.

we are happy to inform you that your application for an exchange has been accepted, congratulations!
Attached you will find a scan of your acceptance letter for your exchange semester starting in the winter semester 2024/25. Your departmental coordinator mentioned in the acceptance letter attached will advise you on suitable classes and also sign your learning agreement (if needed). Please note that in Germany, you will need to register via StudIP for all the courses you would like to join; including the courses in your learning agreements does not automatically reserve you a place. The course catalogue will be published about 4-6 weeks before the start of the semester (August/September 2024). Before that, registration for any courses is not possible.
올덴부르크 대학에서도 나를 교환학생으로 인정한다는 입학 허가서이다. 이제부터 비자 신청 등을 시작하면 된다.
